ABOUT USThirty years ago I drew a character for my high school art class. I am no artist! However, I continued to doodle this little character.My children have told me for many years now that I need to do something with this character. They have never seen anything like it.I live in a cold area and every winter I use my just plain, dull, square corn bag. Suddenly it hit me; I should make my character into a corn bag. Children will love and snuggle with it all the time. I researched how to sew and what type of filler would be the best to use. That was the beginning of the Snugglies!
I made a few samples with each one getting better, then I tested them out on the family.
I found that everyone loved them including the adults.
It was just before Easter so I gave everyone a snugglie for their Easter present.
The snugglie antennas ended up being perfect to hook around their necks to keep their snugglie in place. The adults flipped them around and found that snugglies worked really well to relieve neck and back pain.
Another light came on in my mind and I made a smaller version of snugglies without antennas/feet and called them pockect snugglies. Put them in your pocket and keep your hands warm!
And of course you have 2 pockets so I came up with pocket twins.
Next thing I know my family members started buying snugglies to give as gifts to their friends, teachers, and extended family.
So the snugglie by ksk business has begun and has been going strong since!
